Submissions to the Shareholder Newsletter

 

Shareholder news and announcements for Ouzinkie’s quarterly newsletter must be about a Ouzinkie shareholder, descendant, or spouse. Photographs are welcome in print or digital format and Ouzinkie reserves the right to edit announcements for grammar, length and content. All photos will be returned if requested. All those who submit photos or announcements agree to have the submissions published to the public.

 

Shareholders may submit an announcement or news by:

 

  • Emailing it to info@ouzinkie.com
     

  • Mailing it to the Ouzinkie Village Office at:
    P.O. Box 89, Ouzinkie, Alaska 99644
     

  • By mailing or dropping it off at the Anchorage office at: Ouzinkie Native Corporation, 11001 O’Malley Centre Drive, Suite 105, Anchorage, Alaska 99515.

Charitable Donations

 

ONC make decisions on charitable giving based on the needs its shareholders and their communities. Emphasis is given to education programs and non-profit organizations that enhance and protect the culture of the Alutiiq people. Recent sponsorships include:

  • Native Village of Afognak – Dig Afognak

  • St. Herman Pilgrimage

  • Ouzinkie School

  • Native Village of Ouzinkie

  • Alutiiq Museum and Archaeological Repository

  • Gulf of Alaska Coastal Communities Coalition

  • “Stranger” City League Basketball Team
